Congratulations to Anjum Sultana – 2020 Global Woman of Distinction!

Congratulations to our National Director of Public Policy & Strategic Communications, Anjum Sultana! She was recently named a Global Woman of Distinction by the NGO Committee on the Status of Women, representing North America and Europe. She will be honoured before the 64th session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York on March 8th, International Women's Day.

Education for Change.

Every four years, the World YWCA conducts a series of business meetings inviting women from YWCAs across the world. The focus of these meetings is empowering women, laying out the strategic framework for a movement focused on gender equality and ending violence, electing a new governing body for the worldwide movement, and connecting with our YWCA sisters from around the world.
