This year, YWCA Canada joins World YWCA, fellow YWCA associations and people around the world in unequivocally denouncing the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

We add our voice to the growing global call for an immediate correction of such a horrific assault on fundamental human rights, safety, peace and freedoms.  

We condemn the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza and call for: 

• An immediate and permanent ceasefire 

• Full, unrestricted humanitarian access 

• The protection of all civilians, in accordance with international law 

We stand in unwavering solidarity with Palestinians and with all communities, civilians and humanitarian aid workers affected by violence—in Gaza and in conflict zones around the world.
